Weekly and Scramble Tournament start time at Bartley Cavanaugh GC, will be 7:30 a.m. Come on out and play!

Weekly Tournaments: April 3 and April 17

Shawn Fukushima is the Spring Weekly Chair (March through May). If you are not identified as a Regular player, sign up Deadline is the Sunday before the Thursday you wish to play.

Monthly Tournament: April 24 at Diamond Oaks Golf Course

Sign up and Payment Deadline: Contact and pay (check only) Don Lai by April 10th for a guaranteed spot.

09:32 first tee time. Cost is $55 for members (includes $5 tournament fee), and $50 for guests. Cost includes green fee and cart.

Please let Don know if you are playing or not. Guests are welcome. The deadline for the guaranteed player count is Thursday April 10, 2025. Make checks payable to "Sakura Senior Golf Club" and mail or give the check to Don Lai on or (preferably) no later than April 10. If you do not play in the weekly tournaments and/or do not see Don, please contact him preferably by text message, or then by email, or then by phone (leave a message). Don will always acknowledge receipt of your contact. If not, please contact him again.
 

At the course, please check in 45 minutes before your tee time. There will be a registration table inside the dining room.

In Memoriam: It is with a heavy heart that I report on the recent passing of two great former members:

 

• Frank Suzuki was the backbone of the club for over fifteen years, as he served as the club’s Monthly Tournament Chair.

​​​

• Louise Gotan was a long standing member, who gained the respect of the club members, when in her later years, she played through tremendous hardships.
